The Faculty of Nursing, organised a programme titled “Bhavishya Ki Udaan” (Flight Towards the Future) on 15 October 2026 to commemorate the birth anniversary of Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, the former President of India, eminent scientist, visionary leader and an inspiring role model for students.
The programme was organised in the spirit of World Students’ Day, highlighting the importance of education, innovation, positive thinking, ethical leadership and youth empowerment. The programme aimed to inspire students to pursue their aspirations with dedication, develop a scientific temperament, strengthen their moral values and contribute meaningfully to society.
The event also recognised the importance of positive journalism in promoting social awareness, constructive thinking and responsible citizenship.
