“Extension Lecture on Assessment and Management of PPH and AMTSL”
The Faculty of Nursing, Tantia University, organised an insightful Extension Lecture on “Assessment and Management of Postpartum Haemorrhage (PPH) and Active Management of the Third Stage of Labour (AMTSL)” for BSc Nursing 7th semester students, at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology (OBG), Dr. S.S. Tantia Medical College, Hospital and Research Centre.
The session was delivered by Dr. Reeta Arora, who provided students with comprehensive and clinically relevant insights into the assessment, prevention, early identification, and management of Postpartum Haemorrhage (PPH). The lecture also highlighted the significance of Active Management of the Third Stage of Labour (AMTSL) in preventing postpartum complications and promoting safe maternal outcomes.
