The Centre of Excellence and Psychology Laboratory, Faculty of Education, established in 2024, is an innovative academic and skill-development hub designed to enhance both the intellectual and creative capacities of students. The centre integrates psychological learning with practical life skills, fostering holistic development among students of the Faculty of Education as well as learners from other colleges and schools.
VisionTo develop a dynamic learning environment that promotes psychological understanding, creativity, and skill-based education for overall personality development.
- To provide practical exposure in psychology through well-equipped laboratory facilities

- To extend educational and psychological services to schools and colleges

Psychology Laboratory:– Equipped with psychological tests, apparatus, and tools for conducting experiments and practicals in areas such as learning, memory, intelligence, and personality
Centre of Excellence Unit:– A platform for creative and vocational activities that enhance students’ practical skills and entrepreneurship potential
Programs and ActivitiesThe centre actively conducts a wide range of academic, creative, and skill-based activities, including:
- Psychology Practicals:Hands-on training for B.Ed. students and other learners in psychological testing, experiments, and case studies
- Decorating and Designing:Training in creative arts, craftwork, and event decoration
- Painting and Art Work: Development of artistic skills and aesthetic expression
- Bakery and Food Preparation: Basic training in baking and preparation of food items
- Product Packaging:Skill development in packaging, presentation, and branding of products
- Other Useful Activities:Life-skill-oriented programs aimed at enhancing self employment and creativity
