Malaria Awareness Program on World Malaria Day
In observance of World Malaria Day, the Department of Community Medicine, Dr. S S Tantia Medical College, Hospital & Research Centre, organized an activity at Khyaliwala Government School. Students learned about malaria prevention through educational session and a handwashing demonstration. The event aimed to raise awareness about the importance of cleanliness and mosquito control in preventing malaria. Dr. Amrut swami and Dr. Manveer Singh, leading the activity, emphasized the significance of proper hygiene and the use of mosquito nets. Students actively participated in the handwashing demonstration, showcasing their commitment to maintaining good health practices. The initiative highlighted the community's efforts in combating malaria and promoting public health awareness among the younger generation.
