EDUCATIONAL TOUR TO MOHENJODARO AND KALIBANGA
Students of Faculty of Education visited the excavation site of Mohenjodaro and Harappan culture located in Kalibanga and Bhatner Fort in Hanumangarh. Vice Principal of the Faculty of Education Dr. Rekha Soni said that the purpose of this tour was to eliminate the gap between theoretical knowledge and reality of the students regarding the historical sites around them. During this, the students visited historical sites and museums. Many interactive sessions were held. Through these, the students were given information about history. Dr. Rekha Soni explained the importance of education obtained through experience in building the future. The students saw the utensils, statues, objects used at that time of Mohenjo-daro and Harappan period kept in the Kalibanga Museum and got information about them. While returning, the students also visited the Bhatner Fort located in Hanumangarh and got information about the historical importance of the fort. Students including Santlal Sarva, Vipin Kumar, Dr. Preeti Grover, Dr. Sangeeta Agarwal, Assistant Professor Devi Lal of the Faculty of Education were present. Earlier, the team of students was flagged off by Vice Principal Dr. Rekha Soni and University Public Relations Officer Dr. PC Acharya.
