EDUCATIONAL TOUR TO GURUDWARA BUDDHA JOHAR
The staff and students of the Faculty of Education visited Gurudwara Buddha Johar as part of an Educational Tour. They bowed their heads in the presence of the Guru. Vice Principal Dr. Rekha Soni said that the purpose of visiting this historic Gurudwara located in the Raisinghnagar tehsil of the district was to give information to the students about its rich history and cultural significance. The students also saw the tree where Baba Sukha Singh and Baba Mehtab Singh tied their horses after bringing the severed head of Massa Rangad. The students visited this monument and remembered the heroic tradition of the Sikh community. The students helped in distributing langar in the Gurudwara premises.
