COMMUNITY SERVICE AT SHAKUNTALA SADAN BY FACULTY OF EDUCATION
Staff and students of the Faculty of Education of Tantia University met the elders (Pujyashri) at the Government Old Age Home Shakuntala Sadan in village Khayaliwala under the community service program. Vice Principal Dr. Rekha Soni said that the program was organized to tell the students the importance of moral values, to teach them the lesson of social service and humanity and to teach them to fulfill their duties in the society as a good person. The students provided food to the elders living here. Faculty members installed water pots in the old age home premises. Students took inspiration for social service through the event. On this occasion, Public Relations Officer of the University Dr. P.C. Acharya said that the elders are the guides of our life. They are an invaluable part of our life. We should respect them.
