Tantia University is committed for the service to the society. Besides providing affordable higher/professional education, some of the major social commitments include:

- 02. Providing freeship/scholarships and priority admission to the needy girl Candidates in different disciplines through KANYA LOHARI PROGRAMME.
- 03. Scholarships to be awarded on merit-cum-need basis, every year.

The Dr. S.S. Tantia Scholarship is typically awarded to meritorious students based on specific eligibility criteria. Although details can vary, here are some common aspects that are generally considered for eligibility:

| 3 | SPORTS SCHOLARSHIP | At our university, we believe in fostering talent both on and off the field. That's why we are thrilled to introduce our Sports Scholarship Program, designed to recognize and support exceptional student athletes who demonstrate outstanding athletic ability, leadership qualities, and academic excellence. 100% scholarship in the tuition fee is offered together with free hostel accommodation and meals. If the total quota of allotments for sports scholarships is completely filled, then the remaining students will be considered for 75%, 50%, 25% and 10% scholarships. Programs will be allotted to students, subject to availability. Remaining students will be given the option to choose other available programs. The supportive documents submitted by the above candidates for their participation and achievements at the international, national, interuniversity and state level Tantia University and the medals obtained by them were considered for the evaluation of the merits of the candidate for admission under the sports quota. The Director of Sports, Tantia University will monitor and evaluate the performance of these students during their course of study. If they feel that their performance is not satisfactory, they will inform the authorities. The authorities may decide on the continuation of the full fee concession. |
| 4 | ALUMNI SCHOLARSHIP | UG to PG / PG to PG students receive a 20% scholarship in the tuition fee and should submit the final semester results or consolidated mark sheets, which are given by the Controller of Examinations, Tantia University. |
| 5 | KISSAN SCHEME SCHOLARSHIP | Parent's Occupation: The scholarship is generally available for children of farmers, which may include those involved in agriculture or allied sectors. Income Limit: There is a limit on the family’s annual income 2,00,000 to qualify for the scholarship. This is meant to target those who are economically weaker. Academic Performance: The student must maintain a minimum percentage 65% in their current course. Educational Level: Scholarships to be offered for agriculture students, including undergraduate and postgraduate studies. Application Process: Application Form: Fill out the scholarship application form, Documents Required: Provide necessary documents such as proof of parent’s occupation (e.g., land records, farmer’s identity), income certificate, academic transcripts, and identity proof. Submission: Submit the completed form along with the documents to the Registrar office. Selection Process: Verification: Submitted applications and documents are verified by the authorities. Shortlisting: Based on eligibility and academic performance, candidates may be shortlisted for the scholarship. Disbursement: Mode of Payment: Scholarships are typically disbursed via bank transfers or directly to the students. |
| 6 | ECONOMICALLY WEAKER SECTION SCHOLARSHIP | Candidates who have passed qualifying examination (HSC or degree as applicable) in regular mode in FIRST ATTEMPT in the current year of admission, secured good marks, and students with an income of less than 5 Lakh are eligible for the scholarship. 20% to 100% scholarship in the tuition fee will be provided for the eligible candidates. |
| 7 | TU STAFF CONCESSION SCHOLARSHIP | The purpose of the Employee Ward Concession Policy is to provide Tantia University employees with financial support for their children's education. Employees are entitled to a reduction in tuition fees for their children enrolled at Tantia University. The reduction percentage may vary depending on the program and employee classification. |
| 8 | TRANSPORT FREESHIP | This is a great initiative to help students commute to and from campus without incurring extra transportation costs. Providing such services not only makes it easier for students to access education but also reduces the environmental impact by encouraging the use of public transportation. It can also alleviate traffic congestion around the campus area. |
